This recipe was created after talking with my mom about holiday menus and trying to re-make recipes that I could enjoy with the other guests. I always loved the way it had little crispy onions on the top but still bubbled with buttery sauce in the oven right before it was done cooking. Green Bean casseroles pop up at all kinds of holiday gatherings from Thanksgiving to Rosh Hashanah, and they are an easy side dish to make. My version of this casserole is super simple to make and uses straight forward ingredients such as gluten free breadcrumbs, non-dairy butter, shallots, and green beans. Add in a few spices and some oil and you have yourself a gluten free, dairy free, egg free, soy free, delicious green bean casserole that you and your guests will love.
